摘要

步入婚姻至今仍是多數男性的選擇，但婚姻的承諾與鮮度卻隨著時間逐日遞減，伴隨而來的是婚外難以抗拒的誘惑，造成家庭、社會之全層面影響。本研究旨在探究已婚男性外遇經歷之原由，並瞭解外遇對已婚男性個人之生命意義與影響。藉由邀請六位已婚男性現身說法，讓社會瞭解已婚男性更多的想法與面向，以豐富已婚男性研究之視野，為社會所關注的外遇現象盡棉薄之力。本研究採質性研究的深度訪談方法，並以半結構式的訪談大綱進行已婚男性外遇經歷研究之資料蒐集，研究結果如下：一、已婚男性仍然受傳統觀念所影響。二、網路與「機會接觸」是已婚男性外遇的橋樑。三、尋「愛」與被肯定是已婚男性外遇的原動力。四、「感覺」好壞是影響已婚男性外遇的重要關鍵。五、已婚男性外遇未必會有婚姻衝突，有時外遇是維持婚姻的潤滑劑及養分。六、已婚男性藉由外遇修「隨順因緣」之課題，並在其歷程中醒悟，找到使自己成長更好的動力。

Nowadays most men still choose to enter marriage. However, the commitment and quality of marriage seem decreasing gradually, which is accompanied by the irresistible temptation of extramarital affairs. This results in some impacts on family and society levels. The purpose of this study was to explore the causes of married male's affair experiences, and to understand the significance and impact of extramarital affairs on the lives of married men. By interviewing six married males, this study would be possible to understand more ideas and facets of married men, to extend the scope of research about married men, and to provide insight into such a social phenomenon of concern. In this study, the in-depth interview method of qualitative research was adopted, and semi-structured interview outlines were used to collect data on married males' affair experiences. The findings were as follows: 1. Married men are still affected by traditional ideas. 2. Internet and access opportunities are the bridges for married male to engage in extramarital affairs. 3. Finding ＂love＂ and ＂being recognized＂ are the primary motives for affairs in males. 4. The ＂feeling of good or bad＂ is an important key in affecting married male's affairs. 5. Married male's affairs may not cause conflicts in marriages; it sometimes could supply lubricants and nutrients to the marriage. 6. Married men, through their affairs, have learnt the lesson of ＂let fate run its course＂, and have awakened to find the motivation for better personal growth.
