In the Nujiang River area of Fugong County in Yunnan Province, Lisu people has developed a cross-village Christian ceremony at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas due to their long time conversion in Christianity. This article thoroughly discusses the ceremony by using G. William Skinner's market structure system theory and the sacrificial circle notion proposed by Taiwan Scholars to analyze the information obtained from the field research in Wadi village of Fugong County. This article takes the ceremony as a special organizing system of hill minority people in southwest China. Thus, it puts forward the notion of "ritual community" as an interpretative frame, which the authors think as the base to understand the Christian belief and the related ceremony of the Lisu People. Finally, the article explores the impact of the cross-village ceremony on the Lisu People and their society.
