How does theology seek for the development under the illumination of contemporary scientific rationality? Thomas T. Torrance explored an approach to constructing Christian theology - theological science. On the one hand, he criticized the disadvantages of previous theological studies; on the other hand, he surveyed the development and transition of science and philosophy as well as the impact on theology. In the light of the new thinking inspired by quantum mechanics and the requirement of scientific rationality, he expounded the adequacy of theological knowledge. This article comments three core issues of Torrance's Theological Science: theological objectifiability, rationality of faith and commitment and the truth revealed through the Word. Meanwhile it analyzes the dilemma of his approach and some insights for Sino-Christian theology.
