For twenty years, Sino-Christian theology, as an academic movement grown in Chinese Academia of humanities and social sciences, has yielded fruitful results including a academic community and an inter- disciplinary ecology of knowledge. It has also become a historical substance per se to be researched by international academic circles. This article takes the 6th Round-table Conference for Sino-Christian Studies as an example, to illustrate the knowledge map of today's Sino-Christian Theology, and to demonstrate how both Sino-Christian theology and Sino-Christian studies have been enriched and expanded. It then points out that there are always tensions between the two sides, thus how to re-unify them is an important issue for the participants in the near future. Finally, it adds that the Institute of Sino-Christian Studies is a core proponent for Sino-Christian theology. Its global academic network, together with its advocated approach of Sino-Cultural subjectivity, are important factors to support the existence of Sino-Christian theology.
