新殺蟲劑速殺氟對柑桔粉介殼蟲的藥效與田間防治效果

Laboratory study and field efficacy of novel insecticide, Isoclast^(TM) active (Sulfoxaflor), against citrus mealybugs (Planococcus citri Risso)

摘要


速殺氟(Sulfoxaflor, Isoclast^(TM) active)為美商DowAgroSciences新開發的殺蟲藥劑,化學分類上屬於sulfoximines,在IRAC (Insecticide Resistance Action Committee)殺蟲劑作用機制分類中,是新的4C族群裡唯一的殺蟲劑。速殺氟作用機理不同於IRAC分類的4A、4B與4D族群的殺蟲劑,且沒有交互抗性。速殺氟的藥效廣泛於多種刺吸式害蟲。在台灣,柑桔粉介殼蟲(citrus mealybugs, Planococcus citri Risso),為柑桔作物常見之刺吸式害蟲,發生於果實期時會對果實造成經濟上的損害。本研究以實驗室生物檢定法量測速殺氟對於柑桔粉介殼蟲的半數致死濃度(median lethal concentration, LC50)為1.018 ppm。於台南白河與台中東勢的田間試驗結果,顯示速殺氟產品,金適配50%水性分散粒劑,於7500X的稀釋倍數,對柑桔粉介殼蟲可達95%以上的防治效果,且良好防治效果可長達施藥後21天。相對於台灣目前於柑桔作物上對柑桔粉介殼蟲登記推薦的大滅松、馬拉松與加福松等防治藥劑,速殺氟是一個新且有效的防治藥劑,同時還具有良好的動物與環境安全性。速殺氟新藥劑提供了柑桔粉介殼蟲防治的新選擇;此外,速殺氟的獨特與不同的作用機制,也提供田間藥物輪用與抗藥性管理的新選擇。

Isoclast^(TM) active (Sulfoxaflor) is a novel insecticide developed by Dow AgroSciences LLC, USA. Isoclast^(TM) active belongs to the chemical class of sulfoximines. In IRAC's MoA classification, Isoclast^(TM) active is a unique insecticide in the 4C sub group. It is different from insecticides in 4A, 4B, and 4D sub groups and shows no cross-resistance to these chemicals. Isoclast^(TM) active is effective in controlling various types of sap-feeding insects including whiteflies, aphids, hoppers, scales, and mealybugs. In Taiwan, citrus mealybugs (Planococcus citri Risso) is a common insect pest in citrus crops. Citrus mealybugs commonly occur during the fruiting stage and result in significant injury in fruit as well as on citrus plants. In this study, lab bioassays were conducted to obtain the median lethal concentration (LC_(50)) of Isoclast^(TM) active against citrus mealybugs, resulting in LC_(50) values of 1.018 ppm. Field efficacy trials in Baiho, Tainan, and Dongshi, Taichung, showed 7500- fold dilution of TransformⓇ insecticide product with Isoclast^(TM) active (Sulfoxaflor) 50%WDG resulted in >95% control against citrus mealybugs and lasted up to 21 days. Currently in Taiwan, dimethoate, malathion, and isoxathion are the only registered insecticides for citrus mealybugs control in citrus crops, in addition to the newly launched Isoclast^(TM) active. Isoclast^(TM) active is a new insecticide with effective and excellent performance against citrus mealybugs and strong safety profiles in mammals and for the environment compared with other registered insecticides. Isoclast^(TM) active is a new option and choice for citrus mealybug control and its unique MoA adds a new insecticide to the chemical rotation program for the management of insecticide resistance.
