Introduction to the Development of Green Manufacturing Smart Injection Machine for Plastic Recycling Materials

Plastics are widely used in various industries and the global plastics usage remains high. The production of plastic leads to the consumption of energy, and countries are vigorously promoting circular economy, hoping to reduce energy demand through plastic recycling, and pursue sustainable development of net zero carbon emissions. Injection molding is the most important part of plastic processing. Under the trend of constructing circular economy, major international manufacturers of injection molding machines have developed a green manufacturing smart injection machine with Adaptive Process Control (APC) that can be applied to plastic recycling materials. The smart machine can automatically detect the variation of recycled plastics in different batches, and automatically adjust and revise the processing parameters, stabilize the quality of the parts produced; to achieve the purpose of precision injection, so that plastic recycling can be quickly realized.
