Manufacturing and Application Cases for Deployment of AI-BOT Robotic Process Automation Technology

摘要


藉由機器人流程自動化的導入,可對企業生產效能與品質有顯著的提升,然而企業實際導入時,除技術問題外亦常因其軟硬體環境的條件而有不同的挑戰。本文以三個結合腳本化智慧代操與視覺檢測技術的導入應用實例,介紹流程自動化部署時的技術要件與實務考量,以及部署後對企業特定流程效能的改善。透過本文所發展的方法及相關案例導入驗證,未來結合機器學習與人工智慧技術將成為機器人流程自動化與智慧化之發展方向。

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a system that can provide operational automation solution and its market size is growing rapidly in recent years. RPA is not a physical robot; it is software that can interact with computers like a human. Activities such as screen item recognition and selection, opening of attachments, data entry, and report generation are fast, accurate, and reliable. RPA brings benefits for companies, customers and employees. However, differences in software and hardware environments make it difficult to deploy RPA. Therefore, this article introduces three RPA application cases for the visual inspection process with our proposed script-based AI-BOT solution, and the improvement of enterprise-specific process performance after deployment. The next phase of automation will be enabled when machine learning technology and artificial intelligence become smart enough to automate RPA constructively.
