摘要

二十一世紀是漢傳佛教復興的時代，現代化、國際化、本土化、人間化。到今天，「人間佛教」已成為華人地區佛教徒的共同語言。在台灣，法鼓山的興建，以「建設人間淨土」為努力，朝著「提升人的品質」為目標，提出「心五四運動」與「心六倫運動」，發揮「教育」的功能，是以淨化個人、淨化社會為目標。本論文即藉此說明聖嚴法師興建法鼓山對當代漢傳佛教之影響，評估二十一世紀當代中國佛教的未來展望；以見在比較的視野下，百餘年來的中國佛教，將由沒落而走向時代的領航員；並且，新時代新思維之發展，東亞佛教將有一個不同於過去的面貌。

The concept of ＂Humanistic Buddhism＂ has been the mainstream of Chinese Buddhists in contemporary Chinese society. The Dharma Drum Mountain established in Taiwan, has been making efforts to build a Pure Land on Earth, to uplift the character of human being, and to advocate ＂the Fivefold Spiritual Renaissance Campaign＂ along with ＂the Six Ethics of the Mind Campaign.＂ By conducting the educational function, the two campaigns strive to reach the goal of purifying people and society. This paper aims at exploring the influence of Master Ven. Sheng Yen's establishing Dharma Drum Mountain on nowadays Chinese Buddhism. It also points out the future development of Chinese Buddhism in the 21st Century. From the comparative viewpoint, we predict Chinese Buddhism will become a navigator of this new era and bring forth a feature of East Asia's Buddhism which is totally different from the past.
