From Adam to Abraham: On the Genealogies in Genesis

The Bible attaches utmost importance to the recording and rectification of genealogies. The first genealogy in the Bible from Adam to Abraham is recorded in Genesis 4-11. This article focuses on this genealogy and tries to clarify its theological function in the Bible.
