摘要

橄欖球教練是運動團隊裡最重要的領導者，為了提昇選手們技術能力，橄欖球教練必須對選手能力與表現控制作出判斷與預測，並提供必要的結果回饋與修正訊息。站在第一線的橄欖球教練角色的扮演，應該是除了為推展、選材、運動技術的指導者、競賽組織者外、更是橄欖球運動團隊的領導者，因此，橄欖球教練扮演的既是多元又是最重要的角色。本文透過文獻分析探討得知，橄欖球教練無疑的是最重要的靈魂人物；因為他不但是團隊中所有成員取法對象，更是肩負團隊優勝劣敗的重責大任。一個運動團隊成功與否，除了優秀的選手外，直接影響選手訓練成效與比賽成績無疑的就是教練。所以教練不僅需要有競技運動的正確觀念，亦須具備運動科學的知識、運動技術指導的能力與組織提昇士氣的才能，另外，其本身如能具備高尚的品德當能更容易收到指導效果。
