Satisfaction Survey of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education for Science and Engineering Students in Colleges

摘要


Ideological and political education was put into practice for college students since 2017 in all professional courses and practical courses. In this study, 26 college students from college junior students majoring in the applied chemistry were selected as the research objects, with an average age 21.3 years. Taking "Specialized English for Applied Chemistry" as an example, questionnaire survey was employed to study students' satisfaction with the curriculum ideological and political teaching. The results show that the satisfaction of curriculum ideological and political education is 100% while the proportion of students who are very satisfied with the teaching of curriculum ideological and political education is more than 80%. Besides, the students generally believed that curriculum ideological and political education can improve their ideological and political consciousness, improve their English level, increase their interest in learning, and can give them the correct guidance of ideals, beliefs and values in the course of Ideological and political teaching. The students suggested to further deepen the curriculum reform and strengthen the ideological guidance to make the curriculum much more attractive and interesting.
