The Relationship between Public Interest and Planning System, Planners: From the Perspective of Urban Planning

摘要

In recent decades, the concept of public interest has been heavily criticized. While this remains a key normative reference point for public planning, it can also serve as an assessment and justification tool. This article examines the public interest in the planning system with a view to providing a methodology for how planners should function in order to meet the public interest.
