課室外學習經驗與基本核心能力之關係研究:以某大學三年級學生為例

The Correlated Factors with Co-curricular Learning Experience and Core Competencies of University Junior Students

摘要


本研究旨在探討某校大三學生課室外學習經驗對基本核心能力(包含溝通表達與團隊合作、多元文化與國際視野、主動探究與終身學習、美感體驗與品味生活、科學思辨與資訊素養、批判反思與人文涵養、創新領導與問題解決、社會關懷與公民實踐)之關係,透過便利抽樣法抽取某校大三學生140人作為研究樣本。根據t檢定發現,性別對於科學思辨與資訊素養有顯著差異,F檢定發現,不同學院對於課室外學習經驗有顯著差異,最終透過逐步迴歸法分析,發現課室外學習經驗對於基本核心能力整體解釋力為23.1%,其中「同儕關係」、以及「身心成長活動」達到顯著解釋力。依據研究結果,研究者建議多舉辦並鼓勵學生參與非正式課程之身心成長活動,此外亦需關注科學思辨與資訊素養的性別差異,以及不同校區因資源分配,造成學生參與課室外學習差異等問題。

This study aims to investigate the correlated factors between the university students' co-curricular learning experiences and core competencies (including "communication and collaboration", "multicultural literacy and global perspective", "critical thinking and humanistic literacy", "aesthetics and taste", "scientific thinking and information literacy", "active exploration and lifelong learning", "innovative leadership and problem solving", and "social concern and citizenship practice"). The participants of this study were 140 junior university students recruited from a university in Taiwan by the convenience sampling method. With t-test analysis of variance, gender approach the significant level in scientific thinking and information literacy. With ANOAVA one-way analysis of variance, college approach the significant level in co-curricular learning experience. With stepwise regression analysis, the students' co-curricular learning experience can predict effectively their core competencies, and the coefficient of determination is 23.1%. The strongest factor is the peer relationships and the physical and mental growth activities. Based on the results, this study offers the suggestion: caring about and encouraging students to take part in physical and mental growth activities, and promoting students' health and core competencies. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to the gender differences in scientific thinking and information literacy, and the differences in co-curricular learning experiences due to resource allocation in different campuses.
