五代至宋初邊塞詩研究

Study on Frontier Poetry From the Period of the Five Dynasties to the Early Song Dynasty

摘要


本研究的重點,即對邊塞題材的演變進行考察,以接續前人對漢唐邊塞詩的研究成果,透過對五代至宋初邊塞詩的研究,考究其描寫手法的新創、書寫重心的轉換等元素,顯示此一時期邊塞詩的核心價值。此時,邊塞詩中的雙主線結構,將邊塞詩的發展脈絡,建構出兩條表面看似相悖,實際上卻相互依存的兩種發展模式。彼時的中國在政治上,已經歷了漢唐帝國的榮光,文化方面也已發展出較為成熟穩定的系統,對於我族與外族的區別,也逐漸能以內在的文化體系、政治模式的不同,而有了較為明確的分界,從而形成了中原民族的共同體。因此所謂的邊塞,其包括的意義內容,也不是單純是現實世界防禦堡壘,而是隱含著區隔內外、彼此、胡漢、敵我等,種種與文化概念交疊的中界線,諸多對於中原民族如何表述自我認同,如何面對當時的國際情勢轉變,以及對於界線之外的他者,我等該如何自處的議題,皆因與邊塞有關的書寫得以體現。五代至宋初的邊塞詩,無論在思想、主題、敘事方式、風格呈現構成了一套相互聯動的板塊,思想轉趨內斂保守,由於這份內向自省的意識,邊塞詩中其他多元的主題,也獲得了一定程度的書寫,創作者們利用了不同的敘事方式,呈現出整體蕭索的風格,已與早期邊塞詩為人所辨識的特徵,顯現出相當的不同,並且因其時代位於唐宋變革的樞紐,也開啟此時邊塞詩學中內省而多元,敘事脈絡理性平和等面向,而與後來的宋代詩學有所銜接,更啟發南宋邊塞詩中關懷生民、力求徵實、崇尚理性的特質,形成一道相續的脈絡。

This research is devoted to the exploration and research of the evolution of frontier themes, to continue the previous research results of Frontier Poetry in the Han and Tang dynasties. Through the study of the Frontier Poetry from the period of the five dynasties to the beginning of the Song Dynasty, together with the new creations of its description techniques, the shift of the writing focus, etc., the core values of the Frontier Poetry in this period can be shown. Meanwhile, the dual-mainline structure in Frontier Poetry has taken the development context of Frontier Poetry and further constructed two development models that seem to be contradictory but actually interdependent. At that time, China had already experienced the glory and development of the Han and Tang empires in politics, and developed a more mature and stable system in culture. In addition, the differences between the ethnic group and foreign ethnic groups in China can gradually be distinguished by the differences in the internal cultural system and political model, thereby forming a community of the Central Plains. Therefore, the content of the meaning included in the so-called frontier material is not just a real-world defense fortress. These contents, on the contrary, implied the boundary between the inside and outside, each other, the Hu people and the Han people, the enemy and ourselves, etc., which overlapped with cultural concepts. All these issues concerning how the Central Plains people express their self-identity, how to face the changes in the international situation at the time, and how the ego-nation should deal with others outside the boundaries, are all manifested by the writing related to frontier. Regarding the Frontier Poetry from the period of the five dynasties to the early Song Dynasty, no matter in terms of thought, theme, narrative method, and style, it presents a state of mutual linkage. Among them, thinking has turned introverted and conservative. Due to the emergence of this awareness of introversion and introspection, other diverse themes contained in Frontier Poetry have also gained a certain degree of writing. At that time, the creators used different narrative methods to present an overall depressed and stagnant style, which is quite different from the identified characteristics of the early Frontier Poetry. Moreover, because the era of this series of works was at the time of the transformation of the Tang and Song dynasties, it also triggered the introspective and diverse aspects of Frontier Poetry, and the narrative context was rational and peaceful. These characteristics have been connected with the poetics of the later Song Dynasty, and they have inspired the characteristics of caring for the people, striving for realism, and advocating rationality in Frontier Poetry of the Southern Song Dynasty, forming a continuous and meticulous context.
