直立式手機之視覺薄形化研究

摘要


為因應消費者需求,而帶動整個產品薄形化的發展趨勢。不論是大型電器到隨身電子產品,輕「薄」短小成為消費者選購產品的首要條件。隨身性產品之所以需要經常攜帶,其功能與重要性則非常貼近人們生活。故在這類產品的設計上,除了美觀、實用外,基於攜帶的原則,尺寸上就非得更加要求;而外觀更需符合此原則,在視覺上也需要讓人感到輕巧的外觀設計,使「身」「心」同時能感受到產品所帶來的便利與舒適。 本研究運用質性研究歸納薄形化造形的設計原則,分三階段進行。第一階段收集樣本圖片;第二階段展開焦點團體會議,由不同產業別之產品設計師討論,尋求薄形化造形設計原則與薄形化造形元素,並探求其造成視覺薄形化之原因;第三階段為專家訪談,藉由業界專業資深設計師的經驗,驗證原則之實用性與準確性,並提供薄形化造形原則運用時之建議與意見,作為本研究之依據。 本研究結論以造形元素「形態」、「色彩」與「質感」歸納出薄形化造形設計原則,其中「形態」影響因素為最大,其次為「色彩」與「材質」。形態中又以「切削」的方式最能突顯效果;「色彩」需運用強烈對比方式與形態搭配;材質「質感」為金屬或高反差質感搭配形態能產生薄形感。造形元素搭配得宜能產生視覺注意焦點,模糊或轉移對產品厚度的判斷。

Slimness has been the consumers’ top priority for consumer electronics. Accordingly, “to be slim” becomes the major trend in the development of the electronic product field. Generally, the handy consumer electronics are carried at hand, and the functions are very important to people’s life, the design becomes critical consequently. Not only the beauty and practicability, the size is also emphasized in order to be handy. Moreover, the appearance must follow this principle as well, so that the users can perceive the slimness visually. In the meantime, they also sense the convenience and comfort of the product physically and mentally, Adopting the qualitative research method, the research was carried out in three phases. The first phase was to collect the sample picture. In the second phase, the focus group interview was conducted. Designers from different field were interviewed to discuss the principles and elements for slim form design, and figure out the reason why it has such effect in vision. Experts were interviewed in the third phase. Based on their experience, they examined the practicability and validity of the above principles; meanwhile, they provided suggestions about and comments on the application of the principle. The research finding indicates that, “shape,” “color,” and “texture” can be generalized as the basic elements for the slim form design. “Shape” is the most critical element, followed by color and texture. In regard to the shape, the “cut-shave” has the greatest effect. Contrast color can be effective if it matches the shape suitably. As for the texture, metal material is easier to show the effects of slimness. In other words, appropriate combination of these elements can have the eye-catching effect. However, it can blur focus, and even intervene the user’s judgment on the product as well.
