設計師之人格特質與隨身物品屬性關係研究

摘要


近來大眾對於設計的領域有越來越多的關注與好奇,無論是坊間書籍、電視新聞,都可以見到設計的蹤跡,對設計師的瞭解、設計師的作品、物品甚至私生活,都有詳盡的內容。然而人與物的關係密不可分,物的意義常常顯現的就是我們自身。不同的生活背景有著不一樣的人格特質,不同的人格特質造就了不同的設計風格與設計態度。本研究以不同業務執行類別之設計師為對象,探討設計師之人格特質傾向與隨身物品屬性之偏好。 本研究問卷前測中,發現手機為所有受測者必帶之隨身產品,因此本研究以手機為例,作為探討產品屬性的依據。本研究採用結構式問卷調查,以T檢定與單因子變異數分析作為主要研究工具,探討設計師對於自身隨身物品的關係詮釋。透過歸納結果發現: (一)不同業務執行之設計師人格特質傾向有顯著的差異,其中各類設計師的和善性特質普遍為高。(二)各類設計師產品屬性偏好存在顯著差異。(三)女設計師的神經性、和善性傾向性高於男設計師。男設計師之經驗開放性高於女設計師。(四)女設計師在形式屬性與衍生屬性的偏好高於男設計師。24歲以下之設計師較25歲以上之設計師較為注重且在意產品的外觀。公司企業的設計師的基本屬性偏好高於工作室的設計師。研究結果指出神經性特質越高,在產品屬性上偏向形式屬性;神經性特質偏低的,在產品屬性上則是偏向基本屬性。

Recently, the public pay more and more attention to the design area. Whether in the bookshops or the news from TV, there are many description about designers’ life, interview, belongings and portfolios. However, the relationship between human and object is closed defined. The meanings of objects often represent ourselves. Different life background develop different personality, and different personality develop different style and attitude. In a word, the purpose of this paper is to explore the relation between designers’ personality and belongings. The pre-test found that the cellphone is the belongings that everyone carries ev -ery day, so this study apply the cellphone as the case study on the personal belong -ings. This research is based on the structured questionnaire methods. In addition, it uses T test and one way Anova to analyze the difference from designers. The findings are the following: (1)Different executing designers have different personality trends and the Agreeableness is generally on the high side.(2)Designers’ affinity to the belongings’ attributes also have conspicuous difference.(3)Female designers have the high trends of the Neuroticism and Agreeableness. Male designers have the high side of the Openness to Experience.(4)Female designers have the higher affinity to the Formal attribute and Augmented attributes. Besides, under 24 ages are more concerned with the product looks than above 25 ages. Working in the companies’ have more affinity to the Basic function attributes than working in the studio. The study infers that the higher trends on the Neuroticism have the higher affinity to the Formal attribute, and the lower trends of Neuroticism have the higher affinity to the Basic function attributes.
