設計師的人格特質對多層次傳銷創業績效之影響-以美商如新公司為例

摘要


依財政部的綜合所得稅資料統計,台灣收入於金字塔頂端5%的所得,與最底端5%的所得相比,在1998年為32倍,到了2003年增加為51倍,顯示台灣貧富不均的情況日益嚴重,逐漸受到M型社會的影響。台灣人的薪資收入分成了高所得及低所得兩種,中產階級逐漸消失。設計師也同樣擔憂自己的出路,在現今人人都希望能夠創業的情況下,經營一份多層次傳銷事業是個不錯的選擇,而設計師慣有的人格特質,像是富含創意的思維模式、團隊合作的習慣、擅於營造氛圍等,或許會對創業有潛在的幫助。 本研究旨在探討在美商如新公司中創業的設計師之人格特質與創業績效的相關性,藉由「問卷調查法」,以美商如新公司台灣區中有設計背景的直銷商做為研究對象,研究目的為: (1) 探討現有人格特質的分類方式,並選擇出最適合本研究的方法;(2) 比較創業的類型,瞭解直銷在其中的定位,並探討為何選擇直銷創業的原因;(3) 根據文獻探討設計師的人格特質和非設計師相比,偏向於人格大五類型特質中的那些類型,並用統計分析驗證結果;(4) 根據文獻探討具有那些人格特質之設計師會在績效上有較佳的表現,並用統計分析驗證結果為何。 此次研究預試樣本40份,正式施測樣本250份。所得到之資料以SAS統計軟體進行資料統計分析,統計方法計有:次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差、獨立樣本T-分配、單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行分析。本研究發現如下: (1) 現今常用的人格特質分類法約略分為1. 內外控型人格類型分類、2. A/B型人格分類、3. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator人格特質分析指標、4. 人格大五類型。本研究發現Myers-Briggs Type Indicator人格特質分類法較適合用在個人尋找工作之前,為選定適合且喜好之工作先做出準備;而人格大五類型則適合在選擇好工作之後,藉以瞭解該如何調整以便將工作做到最好。 (2) 根據文獻探討設計師的人格特質多屬於情緒穩定型以及經驗開放型,但經由問卷調查顯示,設計師在人格大五類型的五項人格分類 (外向型、情緒穩定型、親和型、勤勉正直型、經驗開放型) 之下,並無任一項顯示出顯著差異,代表設計師的人格特質並沒有偏向哪一類型特別突出。 (3) 外向型、情緒穩定型、親和型、勤勉正直型和經驗開放型的設計師對於組織的發展有較高的績效表現,而親和型的設計師對於產品推薦則有較高的績效表現。

Due to the influence of M-type society in Taiwan, the salary level has been also split into two ways--- Higher Income Group and Lower Income Group, the Middle has gone. Under this condition, designers are also considering their future. By the time everyone likes to have their own business, a multi-level marketing sounds a good idea to them. May the unique personalities of designers such as creative, good at team work, or atmosphere maker help them make good performance on it? This research discusses the relationship between personalities of designers who starts business in Nuskin enterprise and their performance. By using questionnaire survey, we can understand details of distributors with design backgrounds in Nuskin Taiwan. The purposes are: (1) Discuss the classification of personality now , and find out the most optimal method to our research.(2) Compare the classification of entrepreneurship, discover the position of multi-level marketing, and discuss the reason we choose multi-level marketing for a business. (3) According to the literature, discuss the personality of designer in Big Five model, and verify by experiment.(4) According to the literature, discuss with which personailties can help designer performs better, and verify by experiment. The research has collected for 40 questionnaires as pretest, and totally collected 250 questionnaires as formal ones. The application program is SAS 9.0 system, which is used to perform Frequency Distribution, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, T-test, One-way ANOVA…etc. We found: (1) Common personality classification categorized into four methods, which are 1. External/Internal Personality, 2. A/B types Personality, 3. Myers-Briggs Type Indictor, and 4. Big Five Model. Research found that MBTI is a good way to let people know which kind of job is propriate to them, but Big Five Model lets people know how should they adjust themselves to do the job better. (2) According to the literature, personality of most designers belongs to "Emotional Stability " and "openness to experience", but according to the survey, they are no significant difference in five types of Big Five Model. (3) "Emotional Stability", "Agreeableness", "Conscientiousness", and "openness to experience" are related to high performance on group developement, and "Agreeableness" is related to high performance on product promotion.
