資訊業的變化在所有產業中變化最快的,產品的競爭淘汰也最為激烈。以筆記型電腦產業而言有過之而無不及,產品生命週期往往只有三至六個月。如何能夠有效地配合市場需求,快速提供顧客產品及服務是每一個品牌業者及代工製造業者克不容緩的重要課題。為了因應整體市場快速要求及接單後生產(Build to Order;BTO)、客製化生產(Configure to Order;CTO),個案公司於1999年4月開始與NB國際大廠HP合作採取台灣直運模式(Taiwan Direct Shipment;TDS);其他客戶,及產品線也於後來陸續導入此TDS、BTO及CTO產銷作業模式。個案公司更進一步於2003年增加了中國大陸地區的直運模式,因此從台灣直運模式提升為國際直運模式(International Direct Shipment;IDS)。 為了因應此產銷模式的改變,個案公司的接單到出貨前置時間(Lead Time;L/T)從一個月調整至48小時;訂單履行(Order Fulfillment )從953(95%訂單於接單後72小時內出貨)要求,改善到982(98%訂單於接單後48小時內出貨)。因此在材料庫存管理、生產備料及製程管理及資訊系統的建構,也需要以更快速及彈性的模式配合此快速的產銷模式。 本研究擬針對個案公司BTO/CTO系統的建構、運作的相關問題及系統架構與限制予以分析探討,以提供資訊產業實施BTO/CTO產銷模式之參考。
The change of information industry is the quickest one among all industry. The notebook PC industry is even more competitive in comparison to others since its product life cycle ranges from three to six months only. It is important to cooperate with market demand effectively and offer products and service to customer quickly in every Own Brand Producers and OEM/ODM. In order to respond to the market demand rapidly, Build to Order(BTO)and Configure to Order(CTO)manufacturing strategies requirements. Case company cooperating with Hewlett-Packard Co.(HP)introduced the Taiwan Direct Shipment(TDS)model began on Aprial 1999; The other’s customers and the product line also implement the BTO and CTO plus TDS business model successively later. Case company is it increase direct ship model into Mainland China area on 2003, so improve from the TDS model to the International Direct Shipment(IDS). In order to meet the changing of this business model, from taking order to shipment of the case company, order lead time change from one month to 48 hours; The order fulfillment from 953(whether 95% order 72 hours produce the goods after order receiving)request, improve to 982(whether 98% order 48 hours produce the goods after order receiving). So in inventory management, material pick up arrangement for production and production routing management and how to construct the MIS system need to also cooperate with the business model rapid and flexible requirements are investigated fully in this study. This study includes NB BTO/CTO system analysis, operation relevant problems and structure of the BTO/CTO system and restriction of the case company system. The study is willing to offer the information industry implements BTO/CTO reference business model.
