手機簡訊之社會互動分析：以某空軍基地志願役士兵為例

摘要

本研究從社會學分析的角度出發，所研究的志願役士兵著重在封閉的職場環境中，手機簡訊傳、接所產生的「社會互動」，社會互動中則牽涉到手機簡訊的「認知」、「感覺」及「自我表演」等概念，由這些概念詮釋志願役士兵傳、接手機簡訊的意義。藉由訪談，探索在書寫及閱讀手機簡訊的過程中，主客體間的互動與詮釋。本文發現幾個很有趣的現象，那就是受訪者用扇子、鎖與八爪章魚為隱喻，形容手機簡訊。志願役士兵透過手機簡訊的書寫與閱讀，企圖改變自我形象，以及在有限的70個字中自我表演，期待自己在軍事環境中，能與過去的朋友們像鳥群一樣，一同過冬一同遷移，更期望自己所發出的簡訊能改變自己的形象，如同穿了不同的衣服，與過去及現有的親友進行社會互動。
本文提出一個論點，那就是把手機簡訊的傳接為一種感情抒發、維持人際關係、尋求個人安慰、拓展社會互動之手段及工具。這三種社會互動分別是多層次再現的辯證、回憶封存與開啟的辯證、個人內心史撰寫的辯證。這些辯證透露出志願役士兵在進入封閉軍事環境，產生的不適應及內心世界中，渴望他人的關心不停在心中環繞，時隱時現。

Current study intends to focus on Volunteer Enlisted men from the angle of sociology in the aspect of Social Interaction of sending and receiving Short Message in a closed career environment. Social interaction further involves concepts such as “Cognition”, “Sense” and “Presentation of Self” from which the meaning of Volunteer Enlisted men and Short message is derived.
From information obtained in the interviews, current study aims to explore the interaction and interpretation of sender and receiver in the process of writing and reading Short Messages. Several interesting phenomena which include metaphors such as fans, locks and octopus used to describe Short Message. Through the writing and reading of Short Message, Volunteer Enlisted men are able to change personal images. In addition, they expect themselves to keep in touch with their previous friends when being in the military environment through the 70 word presentation of self like flocks of birds who migrate as a group. Furthermore, they expect that Short Message will change their images much like one with different outlooks and will facilitate Social Interaction with their past and current families and friends.
One of the arguments proposed in current study is to conceive Short Message as a tool and method for people to express emotions, maintain interpersonal relationships, seek for personal consolation, and expand social interaction. These three types of Social Interaction are the manifestation of a multi-layer proof, the proof of the seal and disclose of memory and the proof of personal emotions. These proofs reveal the inability of Volunteer Enlisted men to adapt in a closed military environment and their continuous eagerness in the inner world for others to care and concern for them.
