數位藝術與「溝通」及「互動」關係緊密,強調允許能親身透過肢體與其他感知能力,產生人與裝置間進行交流的互動行為。扮演其中交流溝通的通道,即是一種「介面」的概念,著重使用者的認知與情緒面向,並以提昇使用者的掌握控制能力為目標。本研究提出知覺使用者介面 (Perceptual User Interfaces, PUIs) 人機介面設計研究,結合電腦視覺 (Computer Vision) 技術做為核心方法,探討其運用於數位藝術創作之互動性模式表現。預期研究成果將包含了: 1.導入電腦視覺人機溝通於互動性表現模式研究,探討以電腦視覺為基礎之三種互動介面形式(互動牆、互動式桌面、互動式地板)結合相關數位藝術創作案例。 2.知覺使用者介面模型於數位藝術互動性之探討,並運用電腦視覺技術,針對四種以手部肢體動作為主的感知介面進行設計與發展 (1) 物件感知:藉由物件擺放偵測產生互動;(3) 肢體擺動感知:針對肢體的擺動動作進行偵測與連續追蹤;(3) 指尖感知:手掌部位的動作捕捉與指尖的位置及移動偵測;(4) 輪廓感知:取得手部影像輪廓資訊,包含物體外框與內部封閉區域來進行互動。 3.將影像視覺互動為導向的知覺介面研究成果,實際進行互動式裝置之創作發展,探討其互動性介面設計結果討論。最後綜合前述兩點研究成果進行整理探討,提出具體結論與建議。
Digital media art has very close relationship with communication and interaction, emphasizing to allow personally through body’s gesture and other human perceptual ability to communicate with the artwork. In this research, we proposed a Perceptual User Interfaces (PUIs) to develop a human-computer interaction interface, and integrate computer vision technology into design to study the new pulsation and display of digital media art. This paper will conclude the following contributions. (1) Inquire into the three interaction modes (interactive wall, interactive tabletop and interactive floor) that the computer vision technology combines Art creations. (2) Developing four kinds of interactive perception modes (object perception, body perception, boundary perception and fingertip perception) for Perceptual User Interfaces study. (3) According to the above PUIs results. Putting actual usage the interface technology to a new inter-discipline creation. Through the progresses in this research, this study brought up some suggestions that can be applied to creative artworks in the near future.
