本研究採用個案研究法,以台南市北區長榮社區做為研究對象,並以立意選樣的方式訪談讀書會之發起人、領導者及6位參與5期以上的讀書會成員。旨在:一、了解該社區型讀書會的運作方式。二、探討社區型讀書會做為志工人才培育的可能性。三、提供社區工作者在運用讀書會做為社區人力發展策略的參考。 研究發現: 一、長榮社區讀書會依據參與者特性設計活動形式,其中以電影欣賞為主、其次是發表、戶外教學,以及配合節慶的活動。 二、「參與」、「討論」、「動手做」,以及「結合生活經驗與社會議題」是各種活動設計的原則。 三、個人能力的提升以及增加社區關係的連結是讀書會對社區志工的影響。 四、落實社區需求評估及靈活運用各種團體工作技巧是社區工作者帶領讀書會的方法。
This case study interviewed the founder, the leader and six members who have been attending more than five terms of the Chang Jung Community study group. The objectives of this research are: 1. To understand the operation of the study group of such community; 2. To investigate the possibility of a community study group as a place for community volunteer training; 3. To offer the community workers a reference when making use of the study group as the community human resources development strategy. This study has found: 1.The Chang Jung Community study group has designed types of activity based on the characteristics of the participants, of which, movie and discussion was major, while presentations on various topics, outing, and activities relating with holiday festivals were minor ones. 2.To “participate”, “discuss”, “hands-on”, and “everyday live experience coordinates with social issues” were the principles of all kinds of activity design. 3.The upgrade of personal ability and linking of the relationship inside the community has been the influence of the study group on the community volunteers of the study group. 4.To effectuate community demand evaluation and flexibly make use of all kinds of group work technique are the methods that community workers leading the study group.
