本論文應用田口方法於硬碟片的拋光製程改善。首先,藉由工程背景人員的專業判斷,選擇特定影響拋光製程的必要檢測項目。接著,分析生產過程中的控制因子(Control Factors)與雜音因子(Noise Factors),來發現哪些因素的改變會影響品質。透過拋光製程的改善,以降低產品的不良片數與提高產品良率。 依循直交表的實驗設計,將控制因子適當地配置在直交表中,以實驗操作測得各水準組合下的產品特性數據,分析歸納後,找出明顯影響產品品質的因子,以及最佳的拋光製程的參數水準組合。經由實例分析,並將田口方法應用於工廠實務上,研究結果顯示田口方法能有效降低成本。
In this thesis, a workflow to improve the polishing process of hard disks with the Taguchi methods is proposed. First, the essential test factors that specifically influence the polishing process are selected by the engineers’ discretion. Next, the effects of the control factors and the noise factors of the process on the product’s quality are analyzed. Finally, after implementing the Taguchi methods to improve polishing process, we assume to reduce defective products and increase product yields. According to the orthogonal array, all the control factors are placed in the array representing an experiment that is suitable. The factors that significantly affect the product quality are distinguished and the optimal polishing parameter is composed via measuring and analyzing the results of the experiments of real operation. This research demonstrates that by choosing the proper levels of optimal parameter of polishing, the yields of hard disks can be raised. The results of this research show that applying the Taguchi methods in real factory processes reduces costs effectively.
