晶圓建廠在台灣是一新的領域,由於半導體技術快速的發展,晶圓廠的要求也越來越具挑戰性,因為發展的速度太快同時又沒有整合的機構,使得經驗的傳承僅限於公司內部,且很難在龐大的建廠資料中找到所需的文件,因此經驗的累積及傳承上完全要靠各工程師自己的努力,因此知識庫的建立便顯得格外重要。 本研究以旺宏電子(股)公司之晶圓廠建廠知識庫之導入為研究主體,在公司現有之Notes系統環境下,以不增加成本為原則,進行建廠知識庫之建立。第一階段先從文件編碼索引,將整個建廠活動加以分類;第二階段依第一階段的經驗後,可得最佳的分類方式,在程式寫作、測試階段的錯誤及時間可以得到有效的控制;第三階段則是利用Notes系統所提供的強大條件式搜尋引擎,並依專業資訊寫成Rule,且利用現有的知識庫,擷取部份資料結合在一起,以發揮1+1>2的效果。 建廠知識庫的建立預期能達到以下之成效:增進跨單位的知識分享、提升建廠能力、加速創新能力、降低建廠成本、減少員工離職的知識損失、縮短建廠時程、技術更新的需求及廠商有效管理等八項。而在整個建廠知識庫的導入過程中,主要的成功關鍵因素為:令人仰慕的願景、高層主管的認知與支持、珍惜知識經驗、重視創新、鼓勵合作的組織文化、鼓勵建廠知識蓄積與建廠知識分享的管理制度及充分納入各項企業流程的建廠知識管理程序。
Fab construction technology is new for Taiwan. Because of the rapidly advancement of semi conductor technology (larger wafers and smaller geometry, the requirements of become more and more challenging. The Fab construction technology experience transfer is specific to each company’s unique experience within each company and it is difficult to access the knowledge that is represented by the great quantity of construction documents. thus, It is very important to establish the knowledge management of Fab construction technology, otherwise the engineers have to transfer and accumulate their experience by themselves. This is a case study about how Macronix is attempting to install the knowledge management of Fab construction technology developed during their Fab3 project. It is constructed under the Notes environment by utilizing available staff and without hiring outside consultants. The first stage is to categorize the construction documents, the second stage is to write and test the program, the third stage is to use the search engine of Notes, the fourth stage is to write the program rules to combine some data to increase the value of the document. The result of establishing knowledge management of Fab construction technology are enhancing knowledge sharing between department, promoting the capability of constructing a Fab, increasing the capacity for innovation, reducing the construction cost, reducing the knowledge loss when staff transfer, reducing the construction schedule, renewing technology, and managing contractors efficiently. And the key successful factors are honorable mission; the awareness and support from top management; treasuring knowledge experience; thinking highly of innovation; shaping the organization culture of encouraging cooperation; encouraging knowledge repository, knowledge sharing, and knowledge management discipline.
