摘要


因社會及校園的危安頻傳,安防監控已逐漸被重視,故監視器的需求量大增,而搭配有紅外線光源的監視器能提高夜間安防監控的效果。 目前市面上的監控系統多屬於(IR-LED),其光源為散色光。因為雷射具有高亮度單色光、光束集中不發散的優點,由於雷射不需要散熱裝置,可將機體重量大大降低,同時耗電量低,遠近物體的辨識率也都高於IR-LED 光源機種。其中,垂直共振腔面射型雷射(VCSEL)光點則較為圓,且無須封裝便可進行量測,單位成本較低。因此我們選擇850nm VCSEL 用於遠距離安全監視系統之照明光源,更擁有遠距、低耗電等優點。 本論文探討幾個部分,針對不同的封裝材料以及搭配在鋁板上的溫度分析,VCSEL 經過二次光學之後的光輸出特性的影響,經過二次光學之後可以有效的將光侷限,最後面利用二次光學測試的結果來進行遠距離照明上的應用,以IR-LED 與VCSEL 作為光源的照明投射效果測試。我們以IR-LED 和VCSEL 分別投射照明,在總消耗功率相同的情況下,得到的VCSEL效果比IR-LED還要好,因此VCSEL適合使用在安防監控上。

The security issue has become more and more important in the school, our family and public environment. The surveillance market is then growing significantly. The surveillance camera with IR lighting is especially suitable for the security application. Currently, most of surveillance cameras use IR LED as the light source. However, there are some disadvantages of IR LED due to its divergent light. That is why we try to get other solution for the surveillance camera light source application. The IR LASER is a convergent and lighting source with lower power. It can generate the light with less heat dissipation and can be used without extra heat sink device. So, the lighting module could become lighter weight. And, the surveillance camera can also get a better discrimination image from the IR LASER lighting source due to its high transparence in the air. The VCSEL of IR LASER has the advantages of lower cost, better light pattern and can be tested before packaging. It is then become the solution of the surveillance camera light source application. In this article, there are several comparisons done for the IR VCSEL. We analyzed the effects of different packaging materials. We also checked the temperatures when the component mounted on different metal PCBs. And then, we did the comparison of IR LED and VCSEL with secondary lens to take real pictures. The VCSEL can have the imaging performance better than LED under the same power consumption. So, we can then conclude that the IR VCSEL is a right solution for the surveillance camera light source application.
