本研究的目的在於探討國內不同分類等級站的機場經營效率,藉由資料包絡分析法求得各等級機場的相對效率值,評估其效率值之意義及各個變數對機場影響程度,尋找各等級機場改進的方向與幅度。 研究結果顯示特等站的整體效率、純技術效率、規模效率表現均為最佳,乙等站的純技術效率與丁等站的整體效率、規模效率最差;乙等站應調整其投入與產出,以提高其技術效率,丁等站應縮減其經營規模,以提高其整體技術與規模效率。 與之前文獻相比,本研究係第一篇針對國內5種等級站之相對效率作一評估與排名,以及利用差額變數分析提供各等級航空站應改善投入、產出項之方向與幅度,並藉由敏感度分析提供各等級航空站了解其欲提升整體、純技術效率的重點所在,以此作為有關單位管理方向與決策參考之用,以充分運用現有資源,達到投入極小化之目標。
This research aims to explore the operating efficiency of domestic airports of various classes. Through Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), we derived a set of relative efficiency values, which are analyzed for the implied meanings and how the variables affect the management of airports to pinpoint the direction and scale of improvements. Results of this research showed that Class A airports have the best performances in overall efficiency, technical efficiency, and scale efficiency. Class B airports have poor performances in technical efficiency and Class C airports perform poorly in overall efficiency as well as scale efficiency. Therefore, generally, Class B airports need adjustments to their input and output for better technical efficiency, and Class D airports should cut back their operation scales for better overall and scale efficiency. Compared to previous researches, this study is the first attempt to evaluate and rank the relative efficiency of airports of five different classes in Taiwan. This research used slack variable analysis to provide suggestions for improvements in input and output, and through sensitivity analysis, this research pinpoints the key aspects of improvements for either overall or technical efficiency. In addition, results of this research also provides to relevant administrations as a reference for aims to achieve optimum resource utilization and minimum input with maximum output.
