摘要

我們正生活在網際網路高度發展的時代，不過約莫20年前，誰能料想得到智慧型手機的普及讓使用者隨時隨地打破空間的限制。自由瀏覽網路無論有線、無線的網路速度從撥接每秒64K的傳輸速度，到現在的每秒數以百MB、每秒數GB的速度資料交換。在這個狀態下人們可以自由選擇需求的資訊，知識不再只限定從學校或書本的教授而來。資訊傳遞的方式再也不是單向的吸收。在這個過程裡行動裝置與個人電腦即是其中最主要的工具。

以個人電腦來說，由於圖形化介面的發展，學習使用個人電腦的門檻大幅的降低，而滑鼠則在其中扮演無比重要人機溝通的角色。一個無論你在工作或生活中都難以取代的工具。這個每天與你相處5-8小時甚至還超過這個時間的工具，難道就不能配合不同的心情變換嗎？難道就不能和美感.趣味共存嗎？

本創作即以此為出發點，讓這個被頻繁使用的工具可以隨著使用者的喜好自由變換造型。不再受限於其既定的外表與材質，並提供一個全新的創作途徑讓這個以資訊時代的觀點看來已然成為傳統的工具能夠增添新意與創意。從科技產品這個冰冷的外衣裡跳脫出來，賦予其造型有藝術、趣味等的屬性。在工作與生活裡增添個人專屬的色彩。
