學習是一種建立自我知識、整合外在資訊,並將兩者合而為一的內化過程,然而現在台灣的教育普遍性都是以老師講,學生聽的,單向教學方式來教育學生,於此方法並不能真正促進學生良好的學習狀況。因此從學生為什麼想要學?怎麼引起學生想學?的學習動機的角度來切入,希望從學生自身角度探討學生學習動機的情況。 資訊爆炸的時代,知識、資料、教材的資訊能夠快速地被搜尋到,將知識的拓展能更進一步的深入,也能更廣泛的收集到更多不同面向的資源,而搭配著行動裝置隨時隨地能使用的特性,將學習遍佈每一個角落,不再受空間時間的侷限,並搭配特有定位、感知功能,讓學生在戶外也能與實際的人事物做情境上的結合,使得學習跟生活、現實融合一起。 本研究以目前台灣有行動學習平台與學習動機兩種類別的研究做整理並利用Keller所提出的ARCS提升學習動機來設計的行動平台提升學習動機策略,以及發現台灣的行動平台的研究中,多數研究學生依然是在教室教學裡使用智慧型裝置,並無將行動平台的GPS和感知(Context-Awareness)系統的特色發揮出來,而少數將行動平台的特性發揮出來的研究,卻在資源的整合並不完整,因此老師給予學生學習資源,卻沒有引起學生的動機,也使得良好的資源沒有被發會出來,因此希望藉由此策略設計出能引起學生學習動機的行動學習平台。
Learning is an internalization process of building up and connecting self-knowledge and external information. However, the education in Taiwan nowadays is commonly unilateral — students passively absorb what teachers teach. This approach can’t truly improve the learning situations for students. Thus this study focuses on why students want to learn and how to arouse students’ motivation of learning and probe the condition about students’ learning motivation from their viewpoints. In the era of information explosion, the knowledge, data, and teaching materials can be sought quickly; thus knowledge can expand deeply so that we could widely collect resources from different aspects. Using mobile device with a feature of being available at all times can make education extend everywhere without the confinement of space and time. Students can make a connection with reality by using orientation position and perception function outdoors to combine learning and reality life. This research studies on mobile learning platform and motivation of learning and use ARCS, the platform designing for improving learning motivation from Keller to find out that most of the researches about mobile platforms in Taiwan still use mobile device indoors but don’t use the features of GPS and Context-Awareness system of the mobile device. Few researches elaborate the feature of mobile platforms, but the combination of resources isn’t complete. Hence students don’t have motivation of learning even though teachers give them learning resources. Furthermore, good resources aren’t found out. Hope that we can design a mobile learning platform to arouse students’ motivation of learning under this strategy.
