公立國小學童家庭教育資本與英語學習成就之探討

摘要

本研究旨在探討公立國小學童家庭教育資本與英語學習成就之關係。本研究採用質性研究法，首先立意取樣六位來自不同家庭背景之學生，藉由半結構式訪談法進行資料的蒐集。根據分析之結果，提出本研究之結論如下：
一、家庭教育資本高之學童，其英語學習成就亦高。
二、不同家庭背景因素學生的家庭教育資本與英語學習成就也不同。
三、男、女學生之英語學習成就表現並無顯著差異。
最後，本研究根據研究之結果針對教育行政機關、學校、教師、家長及未來研究者提出建議。

The purpose of this study was to explore the relation between family educational capital and achievement on English learing of public primary school students. This study utilized quantative research method, and used purposive sampling to pick out six public primary school students of different family background. Then, collecting materials through the use of semi-constructed interview method. The results of this study are stated as follows:
1. The higher family educational capital the students have, the higher English learning achievement they get.
2. The results of the relation between family educational capital and English learning achievement are different if the students are from different family background.
3. There is no significant difference between boys and girls in English learning achievement.
Lastly, according to the results of this research, the researcher made suggestions for administrative authorities, primary schools, in-service teachers, parents and for future research.
