The purpose of this study was to explore the relation between family educational capital and achievement on English learing of public primary school students. This study utilized quantative research method, and used purposive sampling to pick out six public primary school students of different family background. Then, collecting materials through the use of semi-constructed interview method. The results of this study are stated as follows: 1. The higher family educational capital the students have, the higher English learning achievement they get. 2. The results of the relation between family educational capital and English learning achievement are different if the students are from different family background. 3. There is no significant difference between boys and girls in English learning achievement. Lastly, according to the results of this research, the researcher made suggestions for administrative authorities, primary schools, in-service teachers, parents and for future research.
