在華語文的教學現場,零起點程度的漢字教學和漢字教材是相對缺乏的,這樣的現象是有兩個原因造成的,一、學習者覺得漢字難懂、難學,二、教學者覺得漢字難教。因此零起點程度的學習重點都集中在聽說技能,學習者的漢字學習是安排在華測會的入門等級或之後的。本研究透過關鍵字識讀與關鍵字識讀教學策略,運用在零起點程度的漢字教學中,以關鍵字識讀的方法編寫零起點程度的漢字教材,幫助學習者在進入華語文教室的第一天,就可以有系統地學習漢字,教學者通過關鍵字識讀教學策略,漢字在零起點的教室裡可以輕鬆教。 根據本行動研究的結果,關鍵字識讀與關鍵字教學策略能夠有系統的增加學習者的識字量,消除學習者對漢字學習的焦慮感。此外,學習者的基本閱讀能力與漢字書寫能力得以提早發展。
In the industry of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, the teaching material of Chinese character and teaching approach for Chinese character for beginner level are comparatively lack off compare to the Chinese speaking segment. There are two main reasons that caused this scenario: beginner level leaners have a perception that Chinese character is difficult to learn and the language instructor assume that Chinese character is a challenge to teach. Therefore the speaking and listening segment are the main learning focus for beginner level learners, they only start to learn Chinese character at the later stage. According to the findings of this research, the beginner level learners could start to learn Chinese character on the first day they enter the Chinese Class with the Key Word Reading approach as well as the language instructor could start teaching Chinese character to the beginner level learners with the Key Word Reading teaching material. Based on the findings of this research, the Key Word Reading Approach and its teaching approach could increase the number of Chinese characters for the beginner level learners, as well as to ease the their burden to learn Chinese characters. Apart from that, the basic ability of reading and writing skills for Chinese of the learner could be develop at the earlier stage.
