動畫導演的劇本視覺化研究

摘要


以動畫劇本的影像化作為研究對象,影像化的過程包含了畫面與聲音的兩個部分以及文學轉換的要素。音樂及音效雖為要素之一,然本研究以畫面及導演之功課為研究範圍,因此排除聲音的部份。 臺灣曾為世界最大的動畫代工國,然現在基層的勞力密集產業漸移往大陸地區發展,在政府推廣文化創意產業的同時,短缺前期製作的經驗,使臺灣在發展國產動畫過程中陷入泥淖。動畫的前期製作包含相當多的要素,聚集要素並使其完善的能力,直接地影響到能否使動畫在有限預算下精準的完成。 現今的動畫是一種綜合性的藝術,包含了文學、影像、聲音三要素。三者缺一不可。動畫劇本的影像化與傳統電視、電影有著許多差異,媒體上的特性,使得轉換更自由、不受拘束。 本文將從動畫的製作流程以及動畫之獨特性,探討動畫劇本之特色,並且訪問國內動畫業界之知名導演,以了解業界實際生態。進一步研究動畫的影像化過程。本文同時研究探討劇本跟動畫劇本的差異,以及動畫劇本跟影像之間須經過的步驟,輔以業界導演的實務經驗訪談,期能對增加動畫應用於商業創作上有所助益。

Topic of this study is focused on the visualization of animation screenplays. The process of visualization consists of two categories, frame and sound, and factors of literature conversion. Though music and sound effects is one of the fundamental elements, it is excluded owing to the range of this study. Taiwan used to be the world’s largest factory in the industry of animation O.E.M. situation changed when this labor-intensive industry moved gradually to the Mainland China in recent years. Our government has been trying hard to upgrade and promote this cultural and creative industry. However, the shortage of pre-production experiences actually slows down our government’s efforts. A successive pre-production contains many key factors. To gather them all and use them efficiently plays the decisive role to finish an animation precisely under limited budget. Today, animation is an art of synthesis that consists all three factors of literature、image and sound. A lot of differences lie between the visualization of animation screenplays and traditional TV or movies. The characteristics of media afford the transformating of animation screenplays with more ideas guiding creation and more technique of expression. This study is trying to probe the characteristics of animation screenplays through the producing process and unique of animation. For a further study on the process of transformating animation, practical experiences obtained from visiting domestic famous directors to understand the ecology of industry are showed in the paper. This study not only probes the differences between the play (script) and animation screenplays but also the steps for transformating of animation screenplays to images accompanied by the practical experiences mentioned above. Expect this study may offer any help to increase understanding on the application of animation to commercial creation.
