企業透過網路推動知識管理之研究

A Study of Managing Knowledge Using Computer Network

摘要


本研究的目的在藉由文獻探討以及質的個案研究法,探討企業透過網路推動知識管理各項活動之方法、機制與困難,並歸納整理出實務上企業透過網路推動知識管理之架構,以作為企業進行知識管理活動之參考。研究者首先針對知識管理之各項活動—知識取得、知識創造、知識儲存、知識散播,結合知識管理網路之基本架構做文獻之探討,並對知識管理活動加以定義。再者,針對實地訪談四家個案公司之資料加以彙整,分析每一公司透過網路推動知識管理之各項活動,以及知識管理網路架構,跨個案比較整理之後,獲致以下的結論: 一、推動知識管理活動之專責單位:企業應設立知識管理專責單位,設知識長一人,其下設社群主持人、知識經理、學習經理、技術經理、專案經理。 二、知識取得之活動:透過EIP(企業資訊入口網站,Enterprise Information Protal)、線上討論區、Email、學術機構、公司夥伴、個人之經驗,在企業可取得資訊的範圍內,克服相關的困難,擷取對企業有利、有價值之知識。 三、知識創造之活動:以知識社群、EIP、電子郵件、線上討論區、留言板、即時視訊會議、創新研討會、員工提案改善制度為方法,配合完善的獎勵機制,由個人之知識創造與分享到企業知識創造。 四、知識儲存之活動:以EIP、知識匣、電子佈告欄、線上討論區、電子郵件、企業智庫為儲存工具,由資訊單位或知識管理單位加以統籌,經過分類編碼的過程之後、將對企業有價值的知識有效保存下來。 五、知識散播之活動:透過電子郵件、電子佈告欄、企業內部電子報、ICQ、聊天室、視訊會議、EIP,經由組織主動提供與員工自行尋找兩種機制,把知識由企業內部擴散到整個組織及全體員工。 六、知識管理網路架構:採專案管理的角度,選擇最適當之元件,對內部儲存知識的資料庫作安全性的控管,建構一最適合企業之知識管理網路。 關鍵字:知識、知識管理、網路、企業內網路、資訊科技。

The study aimed at illustrating discussing approaches, mechanisms and difficulties encountered of enterprises’ knowledge management using computer network, and developing a practical structure of managing knowledge using computer network by literature review and qualitative case study. According to literature, knowledge management included four parts, knowledge aquring, knowledge creation, knowledge storage, and knowledge dissemination. In this study, the date collected from the four intensively interviewed businesses were organized, and cross-case comparisons were done. After data anysis, the conslusions reached were as follows: 1. The unit implementing knowledge management It was suggested that enterprises set up a unit dealing with the implementation of knowledge management and assign a chief knowledge manager, community hosts, knowledge managers, learning managers, technology managers, and project managers. 2. Knowledge acquiring By EIP, on-line discussion, E-mail, academic organizations, businesses’ associates and individuals, the enterprises could get useful and valuable knowledge. 3. Knowledge creation Knowledge communities, EIP, E-mail, on-line discussion, message board, Net Meeting, innovation seminars, and the staff proposal mechanism were applied and coordinated with reward system to convert individuals’ knowledge innovation and sharing to the knowledge innovation of organizations. 4. Knowledge storage After coding processes, information departments or knowledge management units used EIP, knowledge boxes, bulletin board system, on-line discussion, E-mail, and businesses’ intellectual database to keep valuable knowledge. 5. Knowledge dissemination The two mechanisms, organizations’ offer and employees’ search, and the appliances, E-mail, bulletin board system, businesses’ e-paper, ICQ, chat rooms, Net Meeting and EIP, disseminated knowledge from organizations to individuals. 6. The framework of knowledge management using computer network Select the most applicable components from project management perspective. Internal databases should be conducted security control to establish the appropriate network for knowledge management.
