設計工作不同於藝術創作,設計工作者常常是在工作的需求與種種條件限制下,建構發展出自己的設計語彙和創作手法,達到視覺傳達的目的並建立自己的設計風格,在眾多的設計風格中點線面的構成手法可說是最基礎的表現形式,此種形式因其簡單、明確的視覺特性,往往能夠突破條件限制,滿足設計內容的需求,不論在平面或立體的造形領域都顯而易見。 本研究主要是以實驗的精神,利用基礎的點線面為形的單位,加上數學數列的構成形式,藉著兩者的結合,探討其造形的可能性與畫面構成的視覺效果。研究內容包括操作技術的探討與實驗,希望能為點線面的級數形態與造形構成,建立一個有效的操做手法,順利達到視覺傳達的目的。 個人創作分兩部份,生態系列主要是以動物或植物為主題嘗試形態的構成實驗,空間系列包括形態構成與視覺的空間感探索。
Designing is different from artistic creation. Under the demands of each case and various kinds of restrictions, a designer builds his designing vocabulariesand techniques of expression to achieve particular expression of vision and gradually develops his own designing idiosyncrasy. The methods of using dot, line, and surface are the most basic way of expression in every designing idiosyncrasy no matter in 2D or 3D model construction. The simplicity and clearness of this kind of expression make the designer easier to fulfill the demands of designing contents and break through the restrictions. Based on experimental spirit, this research uses units formed by basic dot, line, and surface, which combines with the model construction using mathematics series, to explore the possibility of different model construction and the various expression of vision brought by them. The research includes the exploration and experiment of the uses of different techniques hoping to build up an effective way using the form of series model construction of dot, line, and surface to achieve particular senses of sight. My works are divided into ecology series and space series. The former try to use animals and vegetations as the subjects of model construction and the later include the model construction of space and the exploration of the extensity of vision.
