單一圖形的組合在平面視覺作品中之應用與研究以歐普藝術為例

摘要

本研究以歐普藝術之表現方法為例，抽離出其中重要的構成要素----幾何形，代之以具象的單一圖形。從單一圖形組合的創作中，探討基本單位形的改變，對歐普藝術的精神（摒棄人類感情、感受顫動的視覺效果），可以有多少的延伸詮釋或多大的影響。
歐普藝術的創作原則是理性的、科學的、視覺的，因此我們看不到任何具象形在歐普作品中，雖然抽象形給予人們的想像空間大於具象形，這個廣大的想像空間正也是許多人不易看懂抽象畫的最主要原因。本研究將解構歐普藝術，抽離其中的幾何單位形，代之以具象的蝴蝶為單位形，冀能使用熟悉之造形組合（重新建構），表現出歐普之視覺美感。藉著最平易之具象形，開啟抽象藝術之大門。
在一連串的實驗創作後，進而獲得一個具象單位形的平面視覺創作模式，絕大部份具象形皆能依此架構及模式，快速的運用於具有歐普風格的設計作品上。

This research extracts the essential element of Optical Art construction，the geometric graphic，replace it with single pattern explores impact and explores how the process of changing a single pattern impacts the creation of Optical Art which abandons human feeling and the perception of visual effect。
Optical Art is known to be rational, scientific and highly visual。 There is not much concrete element in this form of art representation.Theoretically this leaves vast room and space for imagination。However，it maybe due to this exact reason that make people shy away from abstract art.This study removes the geometric design of butterfly，replaces it with a concrete design of butterfly，assuming the restructure of the design will make it easier to for the audience to understand what is being conveyed without losing the visual beauty of Optical Art and lead the audience to the appreciation of abstract art。
Through a series of experiments，this study was aimed at providing a pattern of concrete graphic design that is readily available to be applied to any Optical Art design works。
