摘要

The purpose of the present study is to address the problems experienced by both contractors and the organizations that use temporary services. This was done by comparing contractors and employees on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Additionally, the relationships between job satisfaction and OCB for both contractors and employees were tested. Each of the measures was administered to 270 labors (54 contractors and 216 employees) working in a Germen based semiconductor company in Taiwan. Resulting data were analyzed by making correlation between contractors and employees. Contrary to the hypotheses, the present study found that contractors did not score significantly lower on operating procedure, coworkers and communication subscales of Job Satisfaction Survey than employees did. Consistent with the hypothesis, there were significant positive relationships between job satisfaction and OCB among contractors and employees.
