國中女生在不同性別教育環境下身體自我概念與運動行為關係探討

A Study on the Relationship between Physical Self Concept and Exercise Behavior Concept of Junior High School Female Students in Different Sex Education Environment

摘要


本研究目的在探究不同性別教育環境的國中女生、運動行為與身體自我概念的關係,研究方法針對單、雙性教育環境的國中女學生,進行運動行為與身體自我概念的差異調查,採立意取樣,選取新北市女子國中三所、男女混合校九所,共66班。研究的工具包含:「運動行為問卷」、「身體自我概念量表」,問卷共發出1364份,回收1338份,回收率98%,有效問卷1294份,包含女校女學生682位,混校女學生612位。將所得資料之各校學生的身體自我概念得分與運動行為量表,進行獨立樣本t檢定與皮爾森積差相關統計處理。研究結果顯示:1、不同性別教育環境的國中女生在運動參與程度達顯著差異2、不同性別教育環境的國中女生在身體自我概念達顯著差異3、不同性別教育環境的國中女學生在身體自我概念與運動行為皆呈正相關。 結論:不同性別教育環境中國中女生運動參與程度與身體自我概念皆達顯著差異;國中女生在不同性別教育環境下身體自我概念與運動行為皆達正相關。

The purpose of the study was to discover the relationship of junior high school female students’ physical self concept and exercise behavior concept between single-sex education and coeducation. A purposive sampling was adopted to collect the data.  Research instrument are questionnaires of exercise behavior and physical self concept scale. One thousand three hundred and sixty four questionnaires were sent out, and 1338 responses were received, the overall response rate is ninety-eight percent. There are 1294 valid questionnaires. The data were calculated by Independent-Samples t Test and Pearson product-moment correlation.  The results revealed that in both the frequency of exercise and the concept of physical self concept, single-sex education female students is higher than coeducation female students. Both of the results indicate positive correlation. The survey concluded: (a)There are statistically significant differences in the exercise participation between single-sex education and coeducation female students. (b)  There are statistically significant differences of physical self concept between single-sex education and coeducation female students. (c) The study findings may serve as a guide for further research on the relationship of junior high school female students’ physical self concept and exercise behavior concept between single-sex education and coeducation .
