本研究旨在透過教師行動研究,探討教師實施閱讀理解策略於讀報教育課程中,對提升國中七年級學生閱讀素養之成效。研究對象為研究者任教班級的39名學生,以課堂討論、觀察記錄、訪談對話、學生學習單及「PISA閱讀樣本試題」前後測成績等資料加以分析,來了解學生學習成果。 歸納本研究的結論如下: 一、讀報教育課程規畫要能貼近學生生活經驗,宜採主題式設計、運用報紙內容的多樣化及閱讀理解策略幫助學生閱讀學習。 二、讀報教育結合閱讀理解策略教學能提升學生定位訊息、理解能力及評鑑與省思的閱讀素養。 三、讀報教育課程的實施採小組合作方式,較能提升學生學習成效。另外建議讀報教育宜長期實施,讓學生享受讀報之樂趣。 四、讀報教育之行動研究有助於教師閱讀教學能力的專業成長。 依據上述研究結論,本研究亦針對讀報教育教學及未來研究提出建議。
This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing reading comprehension strategies in the Newspaper In Education(NIE)curriculum to improve the reading literacy of 7th graders in junior high schools through action research. The target participants(n=39)were students in the researcher’s homeroom class. The data from classroom discussions, observation records, interview conversations, student learning sheets, and pre and post test scores of the PISA Reading Sample Test were analyzed to understand the students' learning outcomes. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows: Ⅰ. NIE curriculum planning should relate to students’ life experiences. It is important to adopt a theme-based design, and use a variety of newspaper contents and reading comprehension strategies to help students read and learn. Ⅱ. Integrating reading comprehension strategies in NIE can enhance students' ability to locate information, comprehend, and evaluate and reflect on their reading literacy. Ⅲ. The NIE program should be implemented in small groups to enhance the learning effectiveness, and it is recommended that NIE should be implemented on a long term basis so that students can enjoy reading newspapers. Ⅳ.The action research of NIE is helpful to the teacher’s professional growth in teaching reading. Based on the above findings, this study also provides recommendations for NIE teaching and future research.
