以Arduino實現遠程醫療保健系統中的呼吸速率量測器

摘要


呼吸速率是一項重要的生命徵象,它有助於瞭解一個人的健康狀況和睡眠的品質。遠程醫療是將通信技術、多媒體技術、及醫療技術,作相互的結合。目的是要提高診斷醫療的水準、降低醫療的開支、及滿足廣大民眾之保健需求。 本篇論文所提出的「以Arduino實現遠程醫療保健系統中的呼吸速率量測器」,它包含如下的五大部份:(a)呼吸速率訊號的獲得;(b)呼吸速率訊號的前置處理;(c)以Wi-Fi傳送呼吸速率訊號到個人電腦;(d)將呼吸速率訊號再由個人電腦傳送到雲端資料庫;(e)醫護人員經由遠端醫療保健系統讀取雲端資料庫中的呼吸速率訊號。 為評估本論文所提之呼吸速率量測器的效能,找了許多不同的測試者,經多次的測試,結果是從雲端資料庫中所讀取的呼吸速率與從測試者身上所量測得到的呼吸速率兩者是相同的。依據測試結果,證實本篇論文所提出的呼吸速率訊號量測器是一個簡單且有效的訊號量測器。

Respiration rate is an important vital sign which helps to understand person's health status and sleep quality. Telemedicine is composed of communication, multimedia, and medical technologies. Its major purpose is to raise the level of diagnostic medical care, reduce medical expenses, and meet the health needs of the general public. The proposed respiration rate detector contains the following five parts: (a) Respiratory rate signal acquisition; (b) Pre-processing of respiratory rate signal (c) Transmitting respiratory rate signals to personal computers with Wi-Fi; (d) Transmitting respiratory rate signals from personal computers to cloud database; (e) Reading respiratory rate signals from cloud database by healthcare staff via remote health care system. In order to evaluate the efficacy of the proposed respiration rate detector, many people were found for testing. The results showed that both measured data from both the cloud database and the testers are almost same. According to the test results, one can confirm that the proposed respiration rate detector is a simple and effective signal measurer.
