網絡中心位置與結構之研究－以台灣製鞋廠為例

摘要

網絡結構分析主要考量廠商在結構中的位置與關係連結的變化，使具中心位置的廠商能控制資訊的傳遞與流量而形成結構洞的優勢。過去研究指出緊密連結的產業合作網絡，為台灣廠商競爭力的重要來源，但在開發中國家的興起與本土廠商外移下，對整體產業網絡的完整性造成衝擊。台灣廠商為生存與持續保有競爭優勢，如何調整上、下游產業間合作關係，尋找互補性資源，與如何在新的網絡型態中，重建中心性與連結點成為本研究的動機。基此，本研究以網絡動態觀點，探討台灣製鞋廠從創業至今，其所相互聯繫的網絡結構產生何種轉化與層層交疊的強弱關係，以及廠商如何尋求外部資源互補，並產生中心性位置的歷史變化軌跡。
本研究配合廠商網絡連結的特性，研究方法採過去常用於消費者群體特質研究的滾雪球方式進行，以台灣製鞋廠商為研究對象，透過受訪企業主的合作網絡取得其連結點，由一個種子樣本的人際輻射力展開此滾動抽樣，藉由連結相關廠商各自網絡，分別進行深度訪談。透過實務上的訪談，本研究可從結構、中心性、關係連結三個層面發現廠商隨時間呈動態改變的獨特性：首先在結構層面，廠商經營內涵與產業結構的變化均會促成廠商網絡構型的改變；接著於中心性層面上，網絡中的權力大小會隨資源特性而移轉，且當廠商於網絡中有越豐富的結構洞，越有機會移轉至中心性位置，甚至當廠商跨足不同產業，擁有相異資源時，更容易形成跨產業中心性位置；最後在關係連結層面上，則可看出廠商間強連帶關係，有助於網絡成員相互能力拓展，成員也可藉由連結不同產業的網絡關係，使企業持有豐富多元資源，促使組織績效有所提升。

Network structure analysis mainly consider the position of firms and network tie between firms.The firms have network-centrality can control the flow of information and also have advantage of structure holes. But facing with globalization and low-cost pressure, in such context , is often driven by those firms who configure the network. The purpose of this article is to investigate how network of shoes enterprises deal with a dynamic environment. This study combines six firms and uses in-depth interviews to find out firms sketch their network ties to acess and control critical resources and thus change the network configuration and network-centrality. The study also ends with a discussion about all six firms interplay in the whole network In the changing process of firm’s network configuration, this study find out the power of structure will change over time. Moreover, firms have multi-network tie will have a better performance.
