The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement the low cost and domestic range hood of BLDC motor driver.Comparing with the traditionally ordinary families which use the range hood made by the induction motor, the BLDC motor of advantages is high efficiency, small volume and control the speed through frequency conversion. It can save the energy. DC inverter for Range hood controls the speed by using the knobs and adjusting no-segment speed regulation which is substituted for the multi-segment speed selection of traditional range hood and makes controls the speed of the Range hood more flexible .Besides, the drive is low cost and can be more competitive in the market. The micro-control chip for Microchip dsPIC18F1330 is used in this paper whose frequency conversion and feedback processing controlled by the motor driving and integrate the circuit design together to enable this driver to effectively drive three-phase brushless DC motor.
