中學生學習興趣與相關因素之探討

A Study of Learning Interest and Related Factors in Junior High School Students.

摘要


本研究旨在了解中學生期望價值信念、學習興趣與學業成就間的關係,並考驗本研究所建構期望價值信念與學習興趣及學業成就的結構模式與國內學生的觀察資料是否適配。研究者以自編期望價值量表、學習興趣量表為研究工具,蒐集南部七縣市627位七年級國中學生的有效問卷資料進行分析。本研究的分析結果如下: 一、在期望信念上男生有顯著高於女生,而在工作價值上則是女生顯著高於男生。 二、男生在個體興趣與情境興趣上,都顯著高於女生。 三、能力期望與個體興趣、情境興趣以及努力期望與情境興趣有顯著相關。 四、學習興趣與學業成就有顯著相關。能力期望與學業成就、成就價值與學業成就有顯著正相關。 五、本研究所建構的期望價值信念、學習興趣與學業成就模式可用來解釋國中學生的觀察資料。分析結果顯示:期望信念對學業成就直接效果;工作價值對情境興趣及個體興趣有直接效果;情境興趣對個體興趣有直接效果;個體興趣對學業成就有直接效果。另外,工作價值會透過情境興趣及個體興趣對學業成就產生間接效果。因此情境興趣與個體興趣是工作價值及學業成就的中介變項。 本研究根據研究結果進行討論,並提供教學輔導及未來研究之建議。

The purpose of this research was to understand the relationship of expectancy-value model, learning interest and academic achievement form students. The tests model its fit of the expectancy-value, learning interest and academic achievement model that developed on this study. The instruments used in the study include the expectancy-value scale and learning interest scale. In this study, there are 627 freshmen of junior high school in seven country of southwestern Taiwan. According to the result of data analysis, this study reached to the following conclusions: 1. On the expectations beliefs, the boys were significantly higher than the girls; and in the value of the work, the girls were significantly higher than that of the boys. 2. In the context of individual interest and interest of the boys, there were significantly higher than that of the girls. 3. The expectancy-related perception, individual interests, expectations of situation interest, working, and situations were efforts to interest a significant correlation. 4. There was a high correlation between the learning interest and academic achievement. The expectancy-related perception was positively correlated with the academic achievement. Attainment value was positively correlated with the academic achievement. 5. The analysis of expectancy-value model, learning interest and academic achievement model orientation fitted the empirically observed data well. The results of analysis showed that expectancy-value model, learning interest and academic achievement model could be used to explain the empirically observed data. The expectancy-related perception had direct effects on academic achievement, task value had direct effects on situation interest and individual interest, situation interest had direct effects on individual interest, and individual interest had direct effects on academic achievement. Besides, task value had indirect effects on academic achievement through situation interest and individual interest. The results of analysis showed that situation interest and individual interest could be the mediator variable of task value. Finally, based on the research’s finding and conclusions, some suggestions were provided to the administrative education unit and other researchers in the nearly future.
