In order to investigate technological development and trends in the National University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, the research used the methods of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis to analyze the data of published patents, industry-academic cooperation projects, and important academic publications from two representative Universities of Science and Technology. The results show that the Universities place importance works on research and development obviously in evidence on stable growing patents, projects and academic publications. The trends of research and development in the Universities reveal the original aims of establishing the Universities educational purposes. The correlation analysis show that the works of research and development in the Universities still on loosing combination stage. The phenomenon of separating innovation works worth related organizations to make further reflection and improvement.
