中高齡者參與數位學習意願之探討

A Study on the Intention of Digital Learning for the Middle-aged and Elderly Adults

摘要


根據內政部(2015)調查資料顯示,台灣正面臨人口高齡化與獨居老人人數快速攀升的問題。加上數位科技產品的普及化,現今社會幾乎人手一支智慧型手機。然而多數的中高齡者並不善於操作智慧型手機,以至於無法使用智慧型手機以提升生活的便利性以及豐富退休生活。因此,本研究運用科技接受模式與創新擴散理論來探討中高齡者之知覺易用性、知覺有用性、相容性、可試用性與可觀察性對數位學習意願的影響。研究結果顯示,知覺易用性、知覺有用性、相容性、可試用性與可觀察性對數位學習意願皆有顯著正向的影響,顯示絕大多數中高齡者對參與數位學習持正向態度,並願意持續學習。 最後,本研究除了提出提升中高齡者參與數位學習意願的具體建議外,研究成果更能提供政府相關單位在未來規劃與建置中高齡者數位學習課程時之參考依據。

According to the data from the Ministry of the Interior (2015), Taiwan is facing with the problem of population ageing and the number of elderly adults who live alone has risen rapidly. Moreover, with the popularization of digital and technology products, almost everyone has a smart phone in our society nowadays. However, most middle-aged adults are inexperienced at operating smart phones, thus they cannot use them to improve the convenience of day to day life and enrich their retirement lives. Therefore, this study uses the technology acceptance model and innovation diffusion theory to explore the influence perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, compatibility, trialability, and observability on the intention of digital learning for the middle-aged and elderly adults. The results of the study showed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, compatibility, trialability, and observability had a significant positive effect on the intention of digital learning. It shows that most middle-aged and elderly adults have a positive attitude on digital learning and are willing to continue learning. Finally, this study offers concrete suggestions to enhance the willingness of middle-aged and elderly adults to participate in digital learning, as well as the results can provide references for the relevant government in planning and implementing digital learning courses for the middle-aged and elderly adults in the future.
