筆記型電腦內建輸入裝置與操作任務之關係研究

摘要


市售之筆記型電腦內建輸入裝置主要可分為觸控板和軌跡桿兩大類,而其左右鍵都皆在操控游標裝置(觸控板、軌跡桿)下方,但其配置差異導致工作任務上有許多的問題。本研究分為兩階段進行。第一階段主要分析現有操作上的困擾與操作任務種類。第二階段則探討初學者與專家級、男性與女性等兩類族群,對於三種不同游標移動敏感度值操作四種筆記型電腦內建輸入裝置(兩種市售、兩種新發展的內建輸入裝置)與五種操作任務種類(多向目標點擊、多向目標拖曳、連續點選、選取與拖曳文字和打字與點擊目標)之關係。研究中以Visual Basic 撰寫計測程式進行模擬測試實驗(操作時間和錯誤率)和主觀評量。實驗結果以單因子變異數和事後檢定進行分析。在量測實驗結果顯示,(1)在多向目標點擊的操作時間中,兩種使用族群與內建輸入裝置有顯著差異。(2)多向目標拖曳在錯誤率中,內建輸入裝置有顯著差異。(3)連續點選在操作時間和錯誤率中,內建輸入裝置有顯著差異。(4)選取與拖曳文字在操作時間中,初學者和專家級與內建輸入裝置有顯著差異。(5)打字與點擊目標在錯誤率中,游標移動敏感度有顯著差異。在主觀實驗結果顯示,(1)觸控板與左右鍵為觸控板左側直立、鍵盤左側下方評價較高;軌跡桿與左右鍵為下方中央評價較低。(2)游標移動敏感度值12有較高的評價。研究結果所獲得輸入裝置與操作任務之關係,可提供相關廠商建議,並為未來在生活3C產品輸入裝置介面設計參考。

The built-in input device of the notebook in the market includes two major types, which are touchpad and trackpoint. The left and right buttons are located under the cursor control device (touchpad, trackpoint). However, the different allocation causes many problems on task. This study is divided into two stages. In Stage 1, it focuses on the analysis of distraction on existing task and the types of task. In Stage 2, it studies the correlation of novice and expert, male and female with the four types of notebooks of three different sensitivity of cursor movement of built-in input device (two in market, two with new-developed input device) and five tasks (“multi-direction click”, “multi-direction drag and drop”, “successive click and select”, “select and drag the text”, “type and click the target”). The Visual Basic has been adopted to write the program for simulation experiment and subjective assessment. The result is analyzed by one-way ANOVA and post hoc test. The result of the experiment shows that (1) there are significant differences of built-in input devices on multi-direction click. (2) There are significant differences of built-in input devices on the error rate of multi-direction drag and drop. (3) There are significant differences of built-in input devices on the task time and the error rate of successive click and select. (4) There are successive significant differences between novice and expert, and the built-in input devices. (5) There are significant differences of moving sensitivity of cursors on error rate of type and click the target. The result of subjective assessment shows that (1) the touchpad, and the left and right button stand upright in the lower left of the keyboard gets higher assessment. The trackpoint and the left and right button below the center of the keyboard get low assessment. (2) The moving sensitivity of cursor with value 12 gets higher assessment.The result obtained from the study of correlation between the input devices and the tasks can provide suggestion for the relevant manufacturers. Besides, it can be the reference of interface design of input device for the 3C products in the future.
