手機發展趨勢與零組件產品設計之關係探討 —以手機連接器為例

摘要

本研究乃是探討手機發展趨勢相對於零組件製造供應商的產品設計相關事項所帶來之影響。以手機零組件－手機連接器為研究探討之標的物。由於連接器在應用面上仍是屬於被動元件，亦會受到使用在不同產品與環境中影響而衍生不同之介面外觀，因此在產品介面外觀之設計方面自主性比較不高，往往會受到使用產品與環境所限制之影響。
本研究方法主要是以次級資料搜集、分析歸納與深度訪談方式進行，訪談業界5位有多年連接器設計與製造實務之先進，最後整理歸納訪談內容資料。以供業界與個人思考未來產品設計與製造段之發展方向與因應方式。訪談結論，5位業界先進一致都認為目前手機的發展趨勢，從產品的輕、薄、短、小與高速傳輸、高頻化，生命週期、新興市場低價手機、環保意識，幾乎都是與手機連接器產品設計段與製造段有著密切的影響。因此，台灣的手機連接器業界必須有著有別於傳統的思考模式與做法，才能保持著與業界，甚至國際大廠的競爭力。

Targeting at one of mobile phone components, namely mobile phone connector, this study aimed at investigating the influence of the developing trends of mobile phone on the issues relevant to the product design of component manufacturers. Connectors are still regarded as one kind of passive components in application, and the interface appearances vary according to the applications to different products and environments, so they are less independent in the interface appearance design of product, and they are frequently restricted by the target products and environments.
The research was carried out based on the methods of secondary data collection, analysis and induction, and in-depth interview, in which five experts having many years of practical experience in connector design and manufacture were interviewed, and, finally, the interview data were compiled and induced for the industry and individuals to ponder over the developing directions and responding methods of product design and manufacture in the future. To summarize the interviews, the five experts were all of the opinion that all the current developing trends of mobile phone, including the product characteristics of being light, thin, short, and compact, high-speed download packet access (HSDPA), high frequency, life cycle, low-priced mobile phones in the emerging markets, and environmental consciousness, closely influenced the design and manufacture of mobile phone connector. Therefore, the industry of mobile phone connector in Taiwan should possess thinking models and practice different from the traditional ones in order to be competent in the industry or internationally.
