台灣傳統木雕應用於產品設計之研究

摘要

傳統木雕文化是中國人傳統民間信仰、地方文化的縮影，具體的反映出當代社會的各種現象及興衰。在台灣、傳統的木雕文化因傳承與轉化，歷經了大時代的變遷而產生獨特之風格特色。本研究透過專訪之方式見證了近十幾年來相關產業的式微而感到不捨，故秉持著文化學者之使命，還原過往的歷史，來探討傳統木雕文化的源流與過程，在實地的田野調查中深入台灣各地曾經風光一時的雕刻重鎮，了解到傳統木雕藝師的技藝精神與神聖性。
　　本研究在經由史料的蒐集及在地藝師的訪談後，又透過現代專業產品設計師們的觀點，共同來探討如何在傳統木雕經過歷史的發展、文化傳承上重新定義傳統木雕可應用於產品設計之元素，希冀藉由傳統工藝找尋其工藝傳承於後世的可能性，也為後學提供一具體、完整的研究資料及範例，共同為台灣傳統文化之傳承盡一份真誠的心意。

The traditional woodcarving culture is a traditional Chinese folk religion, a microcosm of the local culture, and reflect the various phenomena of contemporary society and the rise and fall. In Taiwan, traditional woodcarving culture heritage and transformation, after the big changes of the times unique style features. In this study, by means of interview with the witness the last decade the decline of the related industries feel sad, and so uphold the mission of cultural scholars to restore the past history, to explore the cultural origins and process of traditional woodcarving, in the field research in the field in-depth parts of Taiwan have carved city of glory, I learned traditional wood carving skill of the craftsman spirit and sanctity.
In this study, through the collection of historical materials and interviews to Arts Division, through the view of the modern professional designers together to explore how traditional wood carving after the development of history, cultural heritage to redefine the traditional wood carvings can be applied to products design elements, hoping to find the craft heritage to future generations the possibility of by the traditional process, and also after school to provide a specific, complete information and examples of the common heritage of traditional culture in Taiwan do our sincere mind.
