3D動畫製作流程應用於創作實驗之研究

A Study of the Producing Process Applied in the Creation of 3D Animation

摘要


媒體科技的發展,形成了複雜的3D動畫製作流程,這除了讓學習者感到壓力,也影響學習角色動作設計與設定的經驗,因此研究一套廣義的製作流程概念,及角色動作設計與設定方法,提供設計教育、學習與製作時做為參考和依據是本研究之目的。本研究藉由文獻探討、實驗創作與問卷訪談三項過程取得結論成果。文獻探討「左右腦理論」與「創造性思維」中發現:影響人類創作成果的因素有認知過程、智力基礎、人格特徵與外在環境因素等。不同的人用相同的製作流程進行創作,有可能產生不同的結果,因此歸納「心智圖」法,讓不善於創造或不善於邏輯思考的人,藉此也能在創作思考上有依循的途徑。文獻探討中分析短篇3D動畫腳色動作之特性發現,反覆的動作的設計方式在動畫當中相當普遍,其中的特性主要為「強調」,而過於「強調」運動的物理性效果,容易使觀者產生「誇張」的視覺感受,此時若能結合角色行為的糗態表現,便能形成「趣味性」的效果。依據文獻探討所歸納之3D動畫製作流程之概念進行實驗創作,依製作流程循序漸進,發現無出現缺乏的製作環節,但創作及製作過程受到創作者個人的製作限制,因此製作成果需要藉由問卷訪談測試成效。問卷訪談之評鑑成果得之:改善建議的部分包括非必要的製程、疏忽的製程與詞彙上的修正。將文獻探討所歸納的反覆動作設計之特性,應用於實驗創作中發現有強調、娛樂、串連、對比與聯想等效果,同時還可以延長動畫時間、吸引觀者注意與增加動作的細節等。在製作過程中,藉由錄製的音效進行製作,其應用成果為輔助構思動作內容、輔助動作設定的時間規劃與確保不同分鏡之間的動作內容不會有所差距等。

For the highly developed technology, the production process of the 3D animation became more complicated. It contributed to the pressure in the learners and influential factors of learning experience. A standard production process and systematic designing method are in need. These can offer a foundation for the design education, learning process, and the creation of 3D animations. This study intends to infer such a method and proves it to be effective. Through reviewed literature, experimental creation, and questionnaire interview, this research found that: the influential factors of human creativity are: the cognitive formation, intelligence, individual characteristics, and environments. People who use the same process to create productions may have different outcomes. A mind mapping method can train some who are not good at creating or logical thinking to create. After analyzing a few poplar short 3D animations, the author found that the repetition of movement can create the features of emphasis and exaggeration. Combining them with the absurd behaviors would create the interesting effects. In reviewed literature, the author inferred a production process and created a 3D animation based on this process. Though having not found any missed link during this process, the author conducted an expert questionnaire interview to test the production process and creation. Except some redundant or missing links in this production process, the overall results are effective. The repetition of movement applied in this animation has created features of emphasis, entertaining, contrast, and association, as well as extension of length, attraction of audience’s attention, and increasing details. Using the recorded sound effects to edit the animation is especially effective in synchronizing movement content, gesture setting, and timing.
