Currently there are about 300,000 foreign laborers in Taiwan. According to the literature review, foreign laborers’ issues are usually related to economic and social problems. Few people are concerned about the status of their leisure life. This study aims to explore the correlation between foreign laborers’ leisure preferences, leisure participation (foreign laborers’ leisure activities in Taiwan and their native countries), leisure satisfaction, and leisure constraints. The subjects were laborers from Thailand and the Philippines who reside in the Tao-Yuan area. The subjects were sampled by convenience and snowball sampling. A questionnaire was designed to survey subjects’ related data. In the study, 1,320 copies of questionnaire were sent to subjects and 634 effective ones returned. Total return rate was 48.03%. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA analysis, paired-sample t test, independent two samples t test and Structural Equation Modeling. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Thai and Philippine laborer’s personal socio-economic background and characteristics significantly influence their leisure preference, leisure participation (foreign laborers’ leisure activities in Taiwan and their native countries), leisure constraint, leisure satisfaction, and life satisfaction. 2. Leisure participations of Thai and Philippine laborers in their native countries are significantly different from their leisure participations in Taiwan. 3. Leisure preference, leisure participation (Thai and Philippine laborers’ leisure activities in Taiwan and their native countries), leisure constraint, leisure satisfaction, and life satisfaction of laborers from Thailand are significantly different from those of labors from the Philippines 4. Leisure preferences are significantly related to the Thai and Philippine laborers’ experiences in their native countries, and not related to their leisure activities in Taiwan. Their leisure activities in Taiwan are related to their prior experiences. This shows the discrepancy between their leisure preferences and leisure activities in Taiwan. 5. Thai and Philippine laborers’ leisure constraint towards leisure activities and satisfaction in Taiwan are negative. 6. Thai and Philippine laborers’ leisure activities in Taiwan are significantly related to their leisure activities in their native countries. Their leisure satisfaction in Taiwan and life satisfaction shows a positively significant correlation. This shows that leisure activities in Taiwan influence life satisfaction through leisure satisfaction.
