摘要

在無所不在的無線通訊世界，近距離無線通訊技術日益受到重視。其中射頻電子標籤（RFID）能夠對人員與物品做長期追蹤與監控的功能尤其受到各方重視。其中利用RFID技術作醫療與健康照護方面資料無線傳輸的應用已快速發展。RFID藉由射頻技術辨識該電子標籤，將辨識資料回傳至系統端，達到追蹤、驗證、及控管等非接觸自動辨識處理。針對各種不同的醫療物品，將這些物品作即時監控能大幅度的增加使用效率並降低使用數量，未來甚至能將病歷資料以及圖表等編上RFID的編碼，做到真正的「醫療物品追蹤」。

In the world of ubiquitous wireless communications, the near field communication technologies, especially RFID, has been a promising technology for long-term personnel and asset monitoring and tracking. For example, RFID system for medical treatment and healthcare applications is growing rapidly worldwide. A tag, containing a unique series number, attached to an object is identified and stored in database of the systematic end for the purpose of tracking, checking, and managing. On the other hand, various kinds of medical items and facilities can be tracking and monitoring, thus higher service efficiency and lower costs are achieved accordingly. Real medical item tracking could be realized by tagging on medical items together with patients’ medical history in the future.
