This article discusses a 50-year-old woman with stage I breast cancer who underwent radiotherapy and hormone therapy after left side lumpectomy. Since then, dry mouth, dry throat, cough, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, fatigue appear one after another. These symptoms belong to Qi-Yin asthenia syndrome with fire. After benefiting qi, nourishing yin and reducing fire for one month, symptoms gradually improved. In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to the symptoms of Yin deficiency, Qi deficiency, and deficiency fire when receiving radiation and hormone therapy at the same time. Appropriate use of drugs for nourishing yin, benefiting qi and reducing fire can achieve therapeutic effects and improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
