化療期間運用中醫藥緩解癌因性疲憊症的乳癌病例報告

摘要

癌疲憊是一種由癌症或癌症治療所引起的疲累、精疲力竭，嚴重影響患者生活品質。本例為一位乳癌第二期患者，術後接受首二次化療時，出現嚴重疲憊虛脫感、怕冷、頻尿等副作用。搭配中醫四診及辨證論治屬「腎陽虛」範疇，配合中藥「補腎陽」、「顧護中焦」的治療策略後，疲憊程度明顯改善，使患者有信心及體力得以完成化療療程。

CRF (Cancer-relates fatigue) is defined as distressing, persistent or cognitive tiredness or exhaustion related to cancer or cancer treatment that is not proportional to activity, interferes with usual functioning, and is not relieved by rest. This report is about a case of breast cancer of stage 2. After finishing first and second chemical therapy, the patient became seriously exhausted, aversion to cold, nocturia, etc. This case would belong to 'Kidney-yang deficiency' with Chinese medicine theory. We prescribed some Chinese medicine with the function of 'warmly invigorating Kidney-yang' and 'Strengthen the spleen and stomach'. The fatigue was significantly improved, and the patient became more brave and confident while facing follow-up chemical therapy program.
